Stock Brokerage

If you have closed bank accounts or overdraft fees to open an account at a stock brokerage?
to invest in stocks? What if you have two bank accounts at least two different national banks have been closed for about $ 100 on the rates of each project. As Bank of America or Washington Mutual, etc. .. ? Will you allow the opening equity investment brokerage account to invest in stocks? I mean, if you are on your credit report that the accounts went to collections? It is rumored that if a bank will never close your account can not be opened anywhere else?
To my knowledge brokerage houses do not throw No Chex Systems or similar record when applying for a brokerage account. However, I could be wrong about that. Honestly the best way for you to finding would ask them if this is the case. You are right, the banks have a database with this information. For example, whether there was any bank or credit union and tried to open an account if your credit score is not at a level that will automatically check your Chex Systems record show if you have any outstanding balances from other financial institutions. As I said, however, I believe the chex systems database is used only for banking products.
